Penulis: Mohd Nazri Latiff Azmi, Isyaku Hassan, Harison @ Hanisa Mohd Sidek

The existence of trauma in literature has been extensively discussed in several literary and scholarly works across various literary genres. The authors of this book address the lack of sufficient scholarly analysis of trauma in poems particularly from a critical thinking perspective. This book scrutinizes the different ways by which traumatic occurrences are demonstrated, processed, revealed, and repressed through poems. At times, the elements of trauma cannot be directly observed from the mere reading of the poem. In this case, critical thinking plays a significant role in exploring the poet’s expressions in relation to trauma. It is evident from the analysis in this book that critical thinking is helpful in exploring traumatic occurrences in poems. This book could be useful to researchers, lecturers, and students of colleges and universities.
